Damareus' Dream
Damareus is dreaming of a Psychology Degree. Fulfilling this dream provides him with the laptop he needs to be successful in his classes. He has been using an older computer that does not support the programs he needs for University.
Damareus was born in foster care and then went in and out of the system his whole life. He was homeless when he aged out and when he first started college. Today he is in a work study program and is attending university full time. He shared, “My hope for the future is to better myself so that I can help better those around me and build a foundation for those who are to come after me have a better pathway than I did.” He is currently earning a 4.0 GPA in college.
In his free time, Damareus enjoys taking walks and binge watching shows with his friends.
