Rayahna's Dream
Rayahna is dreaming of graduating college. Fulfilling this dream provides her with the computer she needs to succeed in her classes. She currently has to borrow one from the library, but this is difficult with their limited hours and availability for her to complete her online classes.
Rayahna entered the foster care system when she was only 5 years old. She said one of the biggest challenges of aging out was transitioning into adulthood alone and not having a family for support or even advice. Today she is a caregiver and attending a Medical Academy. She is working hard to move her way up in the medical field.
Rayahna is bubbly, straightforward, and very happy. She said, “I wish more people knew that I work hard and take care of my child.” Some of her hobbies include being with friends, exercising, and taking care of plants.
