I would love to tell you a little bit about my life and how resiliency was a necessity for me. I grew up in rural Maryland. We lived in a very small house next to a farm where my parents rented the home.

Growing up, (even in college), the night before the first day of school was overwhelming for me. It was like every possible "what-if" would crawl into my mind and then go into a sprint taking over my being and sense of control.

I knew college was something I wanted to do. I wanted to do everything I could to not become what my parents were and I wanted to prove I was worthy of this.
