Benjamin

Benjamin is known by his friends as one who is very outgoing, trustworthy, responsible, and likable. He has spent the past 3 years in the foster care system. He is now focused on gaining independent living skills before aging out of the system.

He is currently a full-time high school student. He has taken a great interest in the automotive and advanced manufacturing areas.

Benjamin’s dream for welding tools was recently fulfilled, equipping him with the tools needed to grow and learn. We received a thank you note from him with the words included below.

“I would like to take the time out to say thank you for the generous donation towards assisting me with my secondary educational journey in welding. Your donation will put me in a position to better my career goal in welding and will give me the opportunity to get an early start on my career. Words cannot express how grateful I am of the opportunities I am given by your program and I am really happy that I was picked in this program and allowed a shot at getting equipment for one of my dream jobs. The true meaning of caring about the youth and our future was shown through your generosity and I would love to meet all the people that made this program possible and give them a good handshake and a thank you hug. Once again, this is really a dream come true for me.”
