Synthia is dreaming of braces. Fulfilling this dream covers the costs of braces that are not covered by insurance and helps with her overall health as well as giving her more confidence.
After spending 10 years in foster care, Synthia recently aged out of the system and is working hard to build a stable future on her own. She’s currently in college, determined to create a life of security and success, but without the parental support most young adults rely on, even simple things—like getting a driver’s license or applying for school—become overwhelming challenges.
Right now, one of her biggest struggles is something many of us take for granted: a pain-free smile. Her teeth cause her constant discomfort, but insurance won’t cover the braces she desperately needs. With so many financial burdens already on her shoulders, this is a cost she simply can’t afford alone.
