Elizabeth's Dream
Elizabeth is dreaming of having a Shopify account. Fulfilling this dream provides her with the platform she needs to sell her pet items online.
Elizabeth spent ten years in the foster care system. She has experienced many hardships since aging out, including homelessness. Today she is attending school full time. She shared, “Currently I go to school for case management and I volunteer at a church pantry.”
When asked what makes her unique, she said, “What I believe that makes me unique, especially compared to those in my age range, is because of the life experiences that I've had, I'm able to communicate more in-depth on a number of topics that some people don't understand.” She has received the Americorps Segal Education Award. In her free time, some things she enjoys are photography and journaling.
