Alexandria's Dream (2/2)
Alexandria dreams of help with her small business. Fulfilling this dream supports her small business of making and selling pastries by helping with Farmer’s Market fees and new baking supplies.
Alexandria entered foster care when she was sixteen years old. She aged out when she turned eighteen. She shared, “When I turned 18 I had no help at all and it was a struggle to figure out how real life works, credit, renting and other basic necessities…I was on my own.”
Recently, Alexandria completed an Associate's Degree and is now attending a University to earn a Bachelor’s degree. She also works part time at a museum as well as selling her pastries and dog treats on the weekends at the Farmer’s Market. She helps other former foster youth by hosting financial literacy workshops on campus.
Alexandria is incredibly driven, hardworking and compassionate. Some of her hobbies include podcasts, journaling and baking.
