Rachel

Rachel spent 4 years in the foster care system before aging out to navigate life alone. Her most important role she now plays is being the mother to a beautiful baby girl.

Rachel came to us in need of a bed that would provide adequate space for her and her child and apartment essentials to make her place livable. While moving, she had stored her things at a storage unit. Her previous bed and many of her possessions were ruined. Thanks to the generosity of donor through Dream Makers, she’s now able to sleep soundly in a new bed that’s the perfect fit for two!

Here’s a note from Rachel:

“I’m writing this letter to say thank you for your generous donation. My words are not enough to describe how I’m feeling when I first hear you have approved our dream which was to get a bed.

Being a parent, single provider for everything, and being in schooling is truly challenging, but I’m so happy to get to know that I’m surrounded with people who have hearts to help.

Your gesture means a lot to me and I can only give back by asking God to keep you all safe. May He take away all the pain and unhappiness you may have in your life and shower you with love peace and joy.
