Cindy is graduating from Chico State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science. She shared this about her journey, “I didn’t have the luxury of focusing all or most of my time solely on my academics. Work, children, mental health, and economic barriers made it challenging to stay committed. It took longer than I had hoped but I’m glad I did to broaden my personal development, opportunities, abilities, earning potential, self-sufficiency, and life quality for my kids.“
