Lexie

Lexie recently moved into her very first apartment and her dream of having basic household essentials was fulfilled by a generous donor! Fulfilling this dream provided her with items like towels, dishes and small furniture items to make her place a functional home!

Lexie spent 5 years in the foster care system before aging out at 18. She says it has been a challenge not having someone to turn to when she needs help.

Lexie has a job and is also attending community college. She is working towards getting her associates degree in criminal justice. Her goal is to become a police officer one day.


An ideal weekend for Lexie is volunteering at her local food bank and homeless shelter. She says she wants to help, even if she doesn’t have a lot.
