Barbie’s dream of new tires for her car was fulfilled! Fulfilling this dream has made it possible for her to drive safely to and from work – as well as any other location her daily tasks require of her. Having this important need met has drastically changed her life, is keeping her safe, and enabling her to keep working hard to meet her needs!

Barbie survived 6 years in the foster care system before aging out to face life alone. She has overcome many difficulties such as not having anyone to turn to for help as an adult. Having to navigate through so much all by herself has been disheartening at times. Barbie is known by her friends as a young woman who is very hard working and has a strong head on her shoulders.

Barbie currently works full time and is doing her best to heal from her traumatic past in order to thrive in her present life. She is working hard every day to be financially stable, while also having a healthy work life balance.
