GeQwan
GeQwan did not speak until he was 5 years old. Soon after that, he was diagnosed with autism.
He entered the foster care system at the age of 16 and aged out without a family to belong in or any meaningful connections to be a part of. Because of his passion for healthy foods and cooking, he put himself through Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Colorado
Dream Makers has come alongside GeQwan to help bring his spice recipes to life to sell through Market 18. We have provided graphic design, containers, marketing, life skills, and a platform to sell the items so that he can focus on creating the product.
GeQwan's passion for cooking and his spices continues to help reduce stress and bring in income for him to live independently.
He wants families to come together, enjoy delicious food, and be thankful for what they have together.
