Tequyra's Dream

Tequyra dreams of a graduation gift of items for her dorm room.

Tequyra is graduation from high school this June. She shared, “If you would have told me when I was in elementary school that I would be going to college, I would never believe you. If you told me in middle school that I would be going to the college of my choice, and pursuing all of the dreams I’ve dreamed of since I was a baby I would have told you were crazy. I can’t believe I made it this far. If I didn’t keep telling myself, and dreaming, and believing, I would never have made it this far. And if I don’t keep imagining and creating, I will never be the surgeon I want to be.”
