Candiss is graduating from San Diego College of Continuing Education with a CNA certification. She is proud of this accomplishment and that she passed the big exam for certification. She is looking forward to job opportunities in the future as a CNA.

Having to navigate schooling while enduring trauma is extremely difficult, adding extra layers of challenges on top of the rigorous task of being a student already. Most foster youth are also navigating this journey alone and this is painfully highlighted on milestones like graduations.

At Dream Makers, we believe these young people are created for a purpose, that they have great value, and that they should be seen and celebrated!
