Anna-Marie dreams of a Bachelor’s Degree. Fulfilling this dream provides her with the laptop she needs to succeed in school.
Anna-Marie spent seven years in the foster care system. Housing insecurity has been a struggle since aging out. Today Anna-Marie is attending University studying Sociology. She hopes to one day be a Lawyer or a High School Counselor.
She has gone through a lot, but has not let it break her. She shared, “I struggle silently. I act okay around others and try to make myself seem happy and okay, but when I am alone - I struggle.” She enjoys taking care of plants, playing video games, and watching the sunset.
