Sarah

Sarah entered the foster care system at the age of 12 and spent years surviving hardship before aging out. With photography as her passion, Sarah submitted a dream to Dream Makers for a Canon digital camera.

As she has excitedly told us, it paved the way for her to start her business, and has led to fulfilling her life goal of getting to be on the red carpet. It continues to open many doors for her and her future.

Sarah says, “I honestly can’t thank Dream Makers enough for this camera and I can’t wait for my future because of it. I connected with Dream Makers through my old caseworker who’s saved my life more than once.”

Just one caring adult can change the trajectory of a life.

Sarah wants the world to know that she’s grown a lot from being in the foster care system, and has found herself within time.

She never gave up. We can’t give up.

As her life depicts so clearly, she wants the world to know that the struggle in the beginning was worth the reward at the end.
