Emily’s dream for an iPad for school was fulfilled, making it possible for her to take notes in her nursing classes to keep up and have a resource to use she studies!

Emily spent over 2 years in the foster care system before aging out. She has pushed past countless challenges and obstacles and is on track to become part of the 3% of foster youth to graduate college.

Along with being a courageous and determined young woman, she is also the person that people come to when they need someone to talk to or have fun with.

She shares, “Having this dream fulfilled has made me feel that others care about me even though they are complete strangers. It has impacted me in such a positive way. My grades have gone up since last semester! My goal is to graduate from George Fox University as a Registered Nurse. My dream being fulfilled helps me get closer to this because it helps me out tremendously in my classes.”
