Bobbi

Meet Bobbi, the recipient of a dream for a laptop of her own to use for the many roles that she plays. Having a laptop as a resource allowed her to increase her studying abilities as a student and presently assists her in advocating for other foster youth.

Bobbi spent 5 years in foster care before aging out. After aging out of the system, she faced many struggles such as having limited familial support, immeasurable trauma from the experiences she faced prior to entering care, and problems with securing stable housing, yet she has persevered and fought to be who she is today. She is known as a friend who is empathetic, giving, and caring.

Bobbi recently graduated with her Master’s in Social Work! In her free time, she enjoys serving on a fostering advocacy board, where she has the opportunity to conduct research around race/ethnicity for foster youth.
