Jamie
Jamie is dreaming of a career as a pharmacy technician. Fulfilling this dream helps her pay for certification fees, clothes and supplies she needs to start a career.
Born in Loveland, Jamie spent 7 years in foster care before aging out of the system. Jamie faced the challenges of navigating the “adult” world alone and feels like she didn’t get the same things her peers did. Currently, Jamie is working at a coffee shop and hoping to start a career as a Pharmacy Technician.
Jamie is strong and resilient. Some things she loves are drawing, art, gardening (or anything plant related) and hiking.

Sarah
Sarah is dreaming of a new camera. Fulfilling this dream provides her with a professional camera for her growing side business.
Sarah is a Northern Colorado native that spent 7 years in foster care before aging out. She has faced countless challenges – yet she has continued to push forward and work hard to overcome them all! She currently works part time with Dream Makers as well as being a gifted photographer. She has a small photography business and having a new camera will help her have a competitive edge.
When she isn’t busy working, Sarah enjoys photography, reading, trying new recipes, and crafting.

Edwin
Edwin is dreaming of an electric bike. Fulfilling this dream provides him with an Electric bike so he can get to work and school reliably.
Edwin entered the foster system as a young child and aged out at eighteen years old. Safe housing has been a challenge for Edwin since being on his own. He has found safe housing, but it is far from his work and school, so having an electric bike will help be beneficial. Edwin works for a local landscaping company and is studying for his GED. After his GED, he plans to go to trade school to become an electrician.
An ideal weekend for Edwin would be spent with friends relaxing or going on a hike enjoying the outdoors. He is very motivated and works hard towards a successful future. He shared that he recently “spoke at the groundbreaking for The Matthews House for the new youth shelter and was able to share my experience as a homeless youth and help make an impact for donors and people who attended the event.” His other hobbies include cooking, running, and listening to music.

Wraith
Wraith is dreaming of new tires. Fulfilling this dream provides him with four new tires installed on his car.
Wraith spent eight years in the foster care system. He aged out when he turned eighteen. Financial stability was the biggest challenge he faced. Wraith works full time at Grease Monkey as an oil and lube technician and is training to become the manager. He hopes to one day be a mechanic.Wraith is outgoing, hardworking and very reliable. His hobbies include camping, hiking and video games.

Dayja
Dayja dreams of a new car. Fulfilling this dream provides funds to help her purchase a new car.
Dayja spent almost two years in the foster care system before aging out. She faced homelessness as she transitioned out of care at eighteen years old. Dayja is working part time at a paid internship in the forestry field and attending Front Range Community college. Having a car will help her graduate and stay employed. She is proud that she earned a high school degree even though she was without a home or transportation.
In her free time she enjoys being outside, painting, and crafts.
