Dream Makers Project Receives
2019 Adoption Excellence Award

In 2019, Dream Makers was honored with a national Adoption Excellence Award, following a nomination by Lynn Johnson, the former Assistant Secretary of the Administration for Children and Families at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. During the ceremony, then Vice President Mike Pence recognized Dream Makers for its powerful impact on youth across the nation who have aged out of foster care, stating: “They are meeting their basic needs, connecting them with new opportunities, including employment, and helping them achieve their dreams.”
