Karrigan's Dream

Karrigan dreams of reliable transportation. Fulfilling this dream helps cover the costs of repairs, maintenance, and upkeep her car needs to be safe and reliable.

Karrigan spent six years in the foster care system. She said it has been difficult because she wasn’t given the proper guidance to thrive in this world.  However, today she works full time as a Veterinary Assistant and is going to school. Karrigan says, “My career goals are to continue to move up at my current position as a Veterinary assistant. I got a scholarship to become a certified technician,  [and] I've just received my anesthesia training and I'm working to become a surgical technician.”

Karrigan says, “What makes me unique from others is my past. What I've gone through changed me and the way I look at things. I try to look at situations from multiple points of view to gain a deeper understanding.” Some things she enjoys doing in her free time are video games, sports, and photography.
