Diamond's Dream

Diamond dreams of mental health resources. Fulfilling this dream provides the resources for therapy sessions he needs to help navigate his past and build a healthy future.

Diamond spent four years in the foster care system before aging out. He said since aging out, “It’s been very difficult trying to manage my mental health, learning how to take care of myself, learning how to do everything by myself…I don’t have somebody I can turn to.” Despite the challenges, he graduated high school and was accepted into college. Today, Diamond has a full time job in security, and attends University as well. His career goal for the future is to become an Audio Engineer.

Diamond says that he wished people knew “That I do have a heart of gold even though I can be a bit distant and reserved.” He enjoys singing, playing an instrument, and music in his free time.
