Gibson – 20 – Colorado
Gibson spent 2 years in the foster care system before aging out to be on her own. In her life, many fond memories are surrounded by food, whether it was her grandma's cooking on Christmas, or her mother serving her breakfast in bed. Food has always been something Gibson has always wanted to learn so that she can create those memories for others. Ever since childhood, she has wanted to start her own restaurant. She is now taking steps towards that and is enrolled in a culinary school. She dreams of having a set of professional pots and pans, as well as some good knives to accompany her in her classes.
