GeQwan did not speak until he was 5 years old.

Soon after that, he was diagnosed with autism.

He entered the foster care system at the age of 16 and aged out without a family to belong in or any meaningful connections to be a part of. Because of his passion for healthy foods and cooking, he put himself through Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Colorado

Dream Makers has come alongside GeQwan to help bring his products to life by providing professional pots and pans, helping provide the necessary items for him to create homemade spice blends to sell, providing the graphic design services for his labels and packaging, and assisting him in the process of pricing the spices.

GeQwan’s passion for cooking and creating new recipes continues to grow. His hopes for the future include getting to cook for others to enjoy.

He wants families to come together, enjoy delicious food, and be thankful for what they have together.
